A popular & versatile contractor-grade Stanley flat base spokeshave. It is great for the shaping & smoothing of irregular curved wood surfaces, the shaping of chair seats, legs, & other curved wood details. The blade is 2-1/8" wide & rests at a 25° angle. The spokeshave has two adjustable screws which provide blade adjustment for the depth of cut & for the thickness of the shavings. One of our most popular & sought-after spokeshaves! Note: Honing is recommended before use. -

I received this USPS priority and it came very well packed. I needed this for a project and it works great. Its made in china but good quality and the price was reasonable. The blade holds its edge and adjustments are simple, quick and precise. This is one of those tools that I wish I had known about much earlier!
