The material is high speed steel with cobalt steel, enabling these drill bits to have increased heat resistance when drilling into materials. They are great for heavy duty construction use. The drill bits have a 118° split point & they will work in a variety of materials including stainless steels, iron & cast materials, low & high carbon steel, high alloy steel, tough & medium, high tensile strength alloys.   Made in the USA.
