  •   2-3/4" backset passage spring latch designed for traditional doorknobs with a square spindle shaft. The latch will accommodate both the standard & common 3/8" - 20 TPI square shaft spindles found on most old-style doorknobs, & will also work with thicker 5/16" sized spindles as well. The well-made & durable spring loaded mechanism provides a secure & smooth operation when used. The latch is designed for a passage (non locking) function on doors. Great for vintage antique door knobs, or reproduction door knobs. Available in oil rubbed bronze, brushed nickel, & polished nickel finishes.
