- Solid oak doorknob with solid brass ferrule bases
- Unfinished solid red oak wood - May even be stained, painted, or varnished if desired
- 2-1/4" diameter knob
- Will fit doors with a thickness of 1" to 2-1/2"
- Spindle hole in brass base is threaded 3/8" - 20 TPI
- Set includes a 3/8" - 20 TPI spindle, two set-screws along with a hex key for fastening knobs to spindle

An attractive solid oak doorknob set. These wood doorknobs are round & have a nice smooth feel & good-looking grain to them. They may even be stained, painted, or varnished if desired. The excellent craftsmanship used to create these doorknobs produces an addition to your home that is both appealing to the eye & attractive to the touch. The wooden door knobs are designed in the Late 19th century, early 20th century style of hardware, but will fit in with any time period up to current contemporary styles. The bases are made of solid brass material & available in unlacquered brass (the non-lacquered brass will patina over time), lacquered brass, oil rubbed bronze, brushed nickel, & polished nickel finishes. I stained the knob red and used a clear polyurethane to finish it. I appreciated the ability to customize the knob like that. I really like the allen set screw. It's much easier to secure than a simple flat head or phillips screw.
