Purely positive. Product descriptions are clear and concise, products are handsome and of great quality. Placed order and received well packaged and promptly. Hardwick & sons is now my go-to vintage hardware provider as I move along in the remodel of my 1920s bungalow

This is a excellent piece of hardware, solidly constructed of quality materials. It's been installed in a late 19th century door, and once the thumbturn begins to tarnish, you won't be able to tell it's not original. You can find cheaper out there, and it will be exactly that-cheaper, in every way. Service from Hardwick's was outstanding. I had to return another deadbolt that was too big in diameter to install. They refunded my money promptly, no runaround, no questions asked. If I can't find vintage hardware for my 1886 home, I now have a source for the next best thing.
