Japanese nokogama sickle saw

I’ve tried sawing with it on several types of limbs but it doesn’t cut very well threw hardwood. I’m going to try using it for harvesting vegetables- I assume it will perform wonderfully for soft tissues stems.

Nokogama sickle-saw

Worked very well. The teeth are very sharp. I’m a small person so the size was good for me.I’m giving one to a gardening friend. The price was reasonable.

    About Carbon Steel

High carbon steel is tougher & harder than stainless steels, making it ideal & desirable for applications where durability is required & where frequent regrinding is needed. Carbon steels are more durable & have razor-sharp edges, & is easy to re-sharpen as well when the need arises.
