This Japanese Kyusakichi "Ajikiri Deba" Laminated Knife is good for slicing fish & meats. The 5-3/4" (145 mm) medium long & 1-1/4" (32 mm) medium narrow blade is suitable for slicing tasks. Laminated with high carbon and mild steel. Includes plastic sleeve for protection. Made in Japan.Yoshida Hamono is a family-owned Japanese company with an age-long tradition in manufacturing state-of-the-art tools and Japanese swords (katanas) by hand. Yoshida Hamono has a great deal of experience forging ZDP-189 steel in the traditional manner. The company has a smaller workshop in the Japanese town of Seki.
