Awesome tool!

So far I have used it to saw through sod to make it easier to remove in small chunks, I have used it to cut back plant debris that stayed up through the winter and I wave used it to harvest some grasses. I look forward to using it to harvest sunflowers as I have seen others do. I like how it extends your reach. I am quite tall, and often get a sore back from bending awkwardly when cutting things. When doing the spring clean up, it was a very nice tool to use, and my back thanked me for it. I would recommend this as well as the other sickle-saws to anyone looking to find a tool that will cut through larger stems, or larger quantities of smaller stems in an efficient and comfortable manner. Thank you Hardwick's for having such a wonderful array of tools available!

    About Carbon Steel

High carbon steel is tougher & harder than stainless steels, making it ideal & desirable for applications where durability is required & where frequent regrinding is needed. Carbon steels are more durable & have razor-sharp edges, & is easy to re-sharpen as well when the need arises.
