A first rate tool

This is my favourite tool. I use it every day. Since it is autumn now, I have been using it to cut down plants in garden beds. Far faster and efficient than using a pair of sharp pruners. The blade never dulls.

Sickle-Saw an Essential Tool

No garden tool holster or bucket should be without a sickle saw! Hardwick’s Japanese sickle-saw is nicely designed, clears tall grass and brush efficiently and is value priced.

Great for cutting thick stems

I like this as an alternative to using pruners to cut thick stems on my flower farm. One quick arm motion instead of squeezing with your hands - great if you have thumb arthritis.
