The model No. SF6 Soft Face 6 oz Hammer is made by Vaughan Mfg. This dual face hammer has a forged steel head that lends force to blows. It is supplied with two faces, a soft (red) & hard (yellow). Hickory handle & a "Sure-Lock" wedge. Rust-resistant powder coat finish. Made in the USA. -

This is a great little hammer made in the USA. The soft faces won't mar surfaces like ball peen hammers and it's nice to have two different soft faces to use depending on your application.

The hammer is just a replacement for one I bought at Sears. Hard plastic end finally broke after probably 25 years. Vaughn apparently made them for Sears/Craftsman because it’s a dead ringer! As a 55-year machinist and 27-year machining business owner I’m very particular about my hand tools. Thank you for your extraordinary service!
