A high quality & genuine glass single doorknob with an attractive octagon design. The sparkling center point under the glass amplifies reflected light to showcase beautiful facets. The rim of the solid brass base folds over the base of the glass knob for a secure grip. The excellent craftsmanship used to create these doorknobs produces an addition to your home that is both elegant to the eye & attractive to the touch. These traditional octagonal glass knobs are designed in the late 19th century / early 20th century style of hardware, but will fit in with any time period up to the current modern styles. The solid brass base is available in unlacquered brass (will patina naturally), oil rubbed bronze, lacquered brass, brushed nickel, & polished nickel finishes. We bought five 8-point crystal doorknobs for our 100 year-old home. Before learning about Hardwick & Sons, we checked nearby stores. Everything we found locally looked cheap and inauthentic. We reached out to our door guy who works with period homes like ours and he wholeheartedly recommended Hardwick & Sons. I reached out to Hardwick & Sons customer service with a sizing question and received a thorough and helpful reply in less than 24 hours. I ordered the doorknobs, they came quickly, and they are absolutely exquisite. They look like elegant door jewelry and they are beautifully and solidly constructed. We love them!!!!

We own an older home, and for some reason there was only one octagonal glass doorknob on our bathroom door, other side was bronze. We are absolutely tickled to find the matching glass knob at Hardwick & Sons. Looks beautiful and we recommend Hardwick & Sins for the fast shipping and care of packaging.

I was very pleased with the quick delivery and high quality of the knob to match my 1920s house/ door hardware. I did notice however that the knob did not screw on the existing spindle as far as the old knob did (1/8 in. short) so the knobs clunk a little when pulled. I intend to try and shorten the spindle to resolve this minor problem.
