This Gränsfors Bruk curved replacement hickory handle is designed for the American Felling Axe No. 434-1 head. The handle has an ergonomic design that gives a firm & comfortable grip. The wooden shafts are impregnated with warm linseed oil & beeswax, which increases the quality of the shafts. This Gränsfors Bruk replacement handle includes a wooden wedge & a three-legged iron wedge. *Note: Wood grain will vary from handle to handle. No exchanges based on grain configuration. -

This is one of my favorite axe handles out there. I've hung a couple 4 lb splitting axes on them and they hold up well. The grain orientation on the ones that I've ordered have always been perfect.
