It's an all-purpose firmer wood chisel for a wide range of projects. Beveled edges. The wooden handle has a flat end for light to moderate mallet use. Made in USA.Buck Brothers is a pre-eminent name in the manufacture of edge & cutting tools. Buck Bros. was formed by John, Charles & Richard T. Buck in 1853 after emigrating from Sheffield, England. The brothers' goal was to provide quality edge & cutting tools made from premium material. Over 160 years later, the company is still making tools in Millbury, Massachusetts.

Haven’t had a chance to use it. It sharpened quickly. May have a concern on how hard it is as I can feel a slight edge where I flattened the back. Need to work it to find out.
