I saw this item on Stumpy Nubbs You Tube Channel. It is a genius design and works like what I saw on You Tube. I have a DeWalt miter saw and built extension tables on both sides, which means that all three points of the stick are touching when I use it. If you just have the saw by itself is not long enough for all three points of the stick, but will still hold a board in place. It is cheap insurance for your fingers and works way better than a wooden stick.

This stick is a great safety item if you ever need to cut short pieces in a chop saw. It allows you to apply strong pressure to tiny piece with having your hand near the blade.
