A special Japanese Saboten hedge shear with a knob on the blade to adjust the tension of the shears for heavy or light cutting, this feature can be used for topiary & or other intricate shearing. Overall lighter in weight than common hedge shears, up to half, this can reduce the fatigue of the user. The blades are made of high carbon steel, sharp, hollow ground, & are hardened & tempered. They also have a special Teflon coating to resist gumming & makes for easier cleanup. 20" overall length. Made in Japan.

I was so surprised to receive the amazing shears so soon. I will use Hardwick & Sons as my go-to for garden gear from here on in!

I feel like I just borrowed some shears from my neighbor and don't want to give them back ... seems like I blinked and they were on my doorstep! Yes, granted, we are only a state away but Hardwick and Sons processed my order in no time flat, thank you (I ordered them on Wednesday and received them on Friday) I have used these shears with the landscape company I work for (they got fondly named "Britney Shears" and have since been ordered by two coworkers). The integrity and sharpness of the blade and lightweight design make them very comfortable and easy to use while aiding in productivity. A very good buy!
