Real Deal Froe - Knife! Not a novelty item or toy!

This Japanese Koshi Nata Froe-knife is a real tool and not a novelty item. It is extremely well made and quite sharp. IT seems to hold its edge quite well. I wish the handle were longer, not so I could hold farther from the blade, but so that there was more counter balance. Because, I am holding close to the blade, i am sensitive to the groove and the closing side of the rivets, therefore I sanded the rivets and the grooves to be more comfortable. Being able to sand and adjust the handle to ones personal ergonomics is one of the hallmarks of a great tool, I advise keeping the Japanese sticker on the handle, It is artistic and the glue is quite difficult to remove.
