The full tang 5160 spring steel goes throughout the entire 16-3/4” overall length knife, giving it excellent shock absorption & strength you can rely on. The 9-1/2" long cutting edge is Cerakote Cobalt coated for added durability & corrosion resistance. Natural Canvas Micarta Handle. Includes a genuine black leather sheath. • 5160 Carbon Steel ~ Commonly known as spring steel, 5160 has excellent shock absorbing properties making it resilient to shattering & extremely durable as a knife steel. For best performance Buck Knives hardens to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 57-58.
