I have owned many Vaughan Rigging Axes. My new axe is somewhat different than my others. The hammer face is beveled quite a bit and the surface on top of the axe where the handle comes through is ground from the top of the blade down below the top of the hammer head. The bevel bothers me the most. the rest I can live with.
