A very elegant & classic octagonal cabinet knob with attractive genuine clear glass. The glass is carefully set into a handsome solid brass base with a threaded shank in the back. It also comes with a 8-32 thread truss head screw which allows for mounting the knob from the back. The solid brass base is also unlacquered (the non-lacquered brass will patina naturally over time). This octagon shape cabinet knob is designed in the Late 19th Century / Early 20th Century style of hardware / Arts and Crafts style, but will match any period style up to current modern styles. A beautiful & elegant knob for cabinets & furniture. Available in 1", 1-1/4", & 1-1/2" diameter size knobs. For a matching octagonal glass pull See here.
Use only hand tools to install glass knobs on your cabinets. Power tools (or even wrenches) may cause damage to the threads or to the knobs.
Carefully hand-install the knob by using a hand screwdriver by fastening the screw into the knob. When installing, do not turn the knob itself as it may cause breakage. Tighten carefully but do not over-tighten - remember they are made of glass & are by their nature, fragile.
We will not replace broken knobs due to over tightening or mishandling.
