  •  This Flexcut Dual-Sided Paddle Strop has a 10” x 3” stropping surface to keep your blades at peak performance. The rough leather surface is used in conjunction with Flexcut Gold Polishing Compound to remove hardened steels. Turn the paddle over to the smooth leather surface for a high-sheen, razor-sharp finish. Includes a 1 oz. bar of Flexcut Gold Polishing Compound. An excellent & quality honing strop.  Made in USA.

    How to Sharpen your Blades

       Apply the polishing compound to the strop liberally. Drag your blade away from the cutting edge at a 15° angle, or when the bevel lays flat. Repeat several times on each side of the blade to polish the edge.

    When to use the Knife Strop

       Your tools can be kept sharp by using the Knife Strop periodically as you cut. A few moments taken to maintain the edge will save time & frustration & keep your tools in top working order. On softer woods, a few strokes should be given to each side of the blade every 20 - 30 mins. For carving harder materials, the frequency or number of strokes should be increased.

    Double Duty Strop

    If you get for a Strop for your knifes this is the one you want. Spending a little more money for this bigger Strop is worth it in the long run. Being double sided and having a larger surface area to sharpen with makes it so much easer it achieve the sharpest razor sharpe edge. When you are done using it simply hang it on a hook by the provided leather strap in the handle ready for the next time you need it. As with all my orders from Hardwick n Sons the service provided by them is true Professionalism at its best. A pleasure doing business with them. Thank You
