Exactly what you should expect

Works great. Will rust like you would expect. So clean it or just use it again. Also can fry your eggs.

  • A deep-sized & sturdy American-made gold pan by Estwing. Made of 24 gauge carbon steel, this gold pan is thick & durable with a large drop center base with nice "creases" on the pan side; this "friction-type" surface will help make separating gold or mineral particles easier. The pan will also most likely develop some rust, which is not necessarily a bad thing since the rust can potentially help maintain gold in the pan easier when panning, this is due to the surface being slightly rough with the rust. Although, a light scrubbing of steel wool & light coat oil will help "clean up" the pan if desired. The pan also has a lanyard hole for easy carrying such as on a backpack, or for easy storage & hanging.    Made in the USA.

Since 1923, the Estwing family & its employees have taken pride in designing & manufacturing the world's most durable, comfortable & attractive striking & struck tools. All claw hammers, axes, specialty tools & pry bars are manufactured to the highest possible standards & offer a true value to both tradesmen & craftsmen alike.
