My experience using the awl was good. My experience with Hardwick’s was great, as always. I am so happy they have an online presence. I shopped with them for decades in Seattle. We have both moved but I am still able to get items I can’t find anywhere else. Good prices and quick shipping.

The awl was just what I wanted, a Japanese awl for knot tying. Calmed the point down a bit with knife edge keeper, and it its PERFECT.
