This very popular diamond stone features the signature polka-dot pattern innovated by DMT in which the interrupted surface of tiny wells traps the metal debris that ensures a clean & continuous edge all while the superior monocrystalline diamond does the efficient sharpening work. For the quickest, cleanest, & most efficient sharpening, there is truly no substitute. Excellent for use with all type of metals, & great for many woodworking tools (although, mini tools with small surfaces are best used with a non-interrupted sharpening surfaces) Comes with an attractive wooden box with non-skid rubber feet. Note: Do not use oil. Petroleum based oil can soften the hard plastic material the diamond is set in. May sharpen dry or with simply with water.
