I like this rule because the numbers are big, dark, and highly visible. The joints are strong and well-engineered. Fit and finish are good, but not lavish. This is a quality working tool, not a wood-art display. It is a very useful and valued addition to my stock of measuring tools for woodworking. The price is appropriate to the quality.
