Easy to install, exactly as described and nearly identical to the originals, which well had been replaced over the years, resulting in the most insane hodgepodge of bolts throughout the house. These look amazing. They’re uniform, period correct and the matching hardware for the rest of the French windows is all available here. Vast improvement. (One word of warning: protect the screw heads as you drive them. Painters tape should do it. I regret my hubristic approach. A lot of brass shows through scratches where I was overzealous and there are no extras.)

I installed this latch/bolt with minimal effort. I was trying to match one on the top of my kitchen window. While this product was a tiny bit larger, using simple tools, I was able to adjust it to work for the bottom of the window.
