Sweet Pickins Grit - Aging Dust

 Sweet Pickins' Grit - Aging Dust is a natural compound used for giving your painted pieces an “aged” look.  Used primarily for highly carved or decorative areas, the dust settles into the grooves giving the appearance of age over time.  This technique is often found in fine antiques & high end furniture pieces.

   Use & Application

   •    Apply your finishing wax or oil wax to your project & then sprinkle on a lot or a little dust depending on how "gritty" you want your piece to look. Wait the recommended time for the wax to dry & then either rub the dust in with a wax brush or a towel to get into all the nooks & crannies. Then buff as usual. Leaves behind an aged "gritty" look.
