  • The "Gränsfors Bruk Drawknife" is a traditional woodworking hand tool used to shape wood by drawing the blade across logs & wood material in long strokes. It consists of a 13-1/2" long cutting edge blade & 10" long handles on each end. The blade has a slight curve to conform to the natural log shape. The drawknife includes a grain leather sheath as well.

       Each axe head is hand-forged from special Swedish steel which is then honed, tempered, & annealed to the perfect hardness by the experienced Gränsfors Bruk Swedish smiths who stamp their initials on the head, creating a one-of-a-kind masterpiece you'll treasure for years to come.

    So far I’ve used to debark black locust, white oak and pine. Handles all with ease. Fantastic tool, very comfortable in the hands.
