A very handy pocket dial caliper that's made of stainless steel material. It is excellent for measuring the inside & outside dimensions of many things including rods, plates & tubing, etc. Readings in 1/64" & .01 Grads with a 4" measuring capacity. Designed to fit into your work belt, pocket, apron or vest. It has a knurled thumb roller enabling one to use it with one hand, & a positive lock too. The jaws of this dial caliper are precision ground. Includes a soft case for storage. An excellent tool for machinists, woodworkers, & mechanics. A very popular caliper with our customers.

HIgh quality 4-inch dial caliper in inch and fractional inch markings
Slightly short cloth carrying case is a quarter inch too short for the closure flap snap to easily close. Case is otherwise well made and attractive. Please get supplier to extend case length by 1/4 inch or five millimeters. Caliper itself is accurate, well made, and I like that the inch readings are on the larger outside part of the dial. I did take some small diamond files and smooth down a few of the abrupt steel corners. Caliper is five start quality. Only the too-short cloth case brings overall rating down to four star.
Not just for board thickness!
Used itto find if the numbered drill was close enough to 7/64th for the pilot holes
Fractional calipers - not just for board sizes!
Answered the question is this numbered drill the right size for a 7/64th pilot hole.
Very satisfied
The caliper is accurate and small enough to keep in my apron. Dial is easy to read. And no batteries to run out just when you need to use the tool! I prefer the analog dial because it’s easier to see how close you are to common measurements. Almost at 3/8, instead of a digital readout of 23/64 or 0.359.
Really nice sliding calipers
Not a bad little caliper for my needs, plus it came with a soft sided case.
