  • A classic & traditional brass screen door mortise latch-set with a lever on the inside & knob on the outside. The doorknob itself is hollow core & made of brass material, & the lever is made of solid brass. The excellent craftsmanship used to create these screen door sets produces an addition to your home that is both elegant to the eye & attractive to the touch. There is a tab on the latch that locks the latch if needed. Reversible for right or left-handed doors. Will match any period style from early turn-of-the-century, to current modern styles. Mortise strike included with screws. Available in non-lacquered brass (the un-lacquered brass will patina over time), oil rubbed bronze, lacquered brass, & polished nickel finishes.

    No title

    The Knob and Lever replacement handle seems to be identical to the one it is replacing and is of high quality. I can't complete installation of the new handle because I cannot remove the old brass tube from the door. I'm hoping that when the temperature increases and the sun hits the door that I may be able to remove the tube but I'm looking for alternative remedies as well.

    The best!!!

    I bought a very similar version of this at a local hardware store and it was horrible. I replaced it with this hardware and it is now exactly perfect! Also, the handwritten note on my receipt is so special!
