A double-edge carving knife with a razor-sharp straight blade & convex curved blade. It was originally suggested for shaping & scraping reeds for musical wind instruments, but it serves well for general use & other specialized approaches to various carving situations. The bottom straight edge is 1-1/2" long, & extremely sharp, while the top edge is curved half the length of the blade. It is thick & un-sharpened so your thumb can press on it for greater power & control. A very special multi-purpose knife, & an excellent tool for carving! Made in the USA.
