These set screws work with traditional-style doorknobs that take threaded spindles. The thread size of the set screw is 32 TPI x 1/4" diameter width, which is a common thread size for holes on old-style door knobs. The screws are made of steel material & are sold in pairs. 1/8" hex key is included. United StatesModern Set Screws don't fit vintage glass doorknobs
Great store! Timely delivery and good product for modern doorknobs. My glass doorknobs are almost 100 years old and the set screws were just a hair too large and wouldn't screw in. I bought a new glass doorknob that is larger than vintage one but blends in nicely.

Didn't work. Wasn't sure whether the set screw would work on this old antique door knob, the original set screw had finally stripped. Looked like the right size, decided to try it, but the screw didn't fit. No harm done, I had no other good options, and it wasn't expensive.

We bought the 1/4-32 x 5/16” set screws for our antique glass door handles. Unfortunately, they must need 5/16-32 x 5/16” set screws and these are not listed on Hardwick and Sons - or anywhere. No problem with the quality of the product delivered though.

I thought screws for antique door knobs were a standard size of 5/16” (which is what I needed) and the 1/4” dimension in the specs was the length of the screw. The parts I received must be 1/4” screws that are 1/4” in length. So they don’t work for my project. It would be good to have all the information for the screw size in the part specs. Looks like a good product, but doesn’t work for my door knobs.
